Check out these 3 for sake of security

Mr. Hargreaves, Assistant Supervisor with the Cary Communications Center, came to Carolina Preserve and told us about three important programs that we can use to help ourselves in case of emergency.  For details, click on the links below:

1)  SNAP (Special Needs Assistance Program)
Any resident of the Town of Cary (Wake or Chatham County) can fill out a SNAP form to let the 911 call center know about any special needs at their property address, such as mobility or cognitive issues or medical conditions requiring special care. Residents can also provide access information, like garage door keypad combination, for secure encrypted transmission to first responders to allow them entry to the property. 2) Wake Rescue Squad / EMS Fund
Any resident of the Town of Cary (Wake County only) can get help to cover the cost of ambulance services from Wake EMS. For only $60/year, you and all permanent residents of your household can receive emergency 911 ambulance service anywhere in Wake County as many times as needed at NO additional cost. THIS DOES NOT WORK FOR CHATHAM COUNTY RESIDENTS OR FOR THE CHATHAM COUNTY EMS PROVIDER. For more information, you can call 844-239-6690 or Click here to join online.

3)  Vial of Life
The Vial of Life is a national program so feel free to share it with all your loved ones. The Vial of Life is designed to speak for you when you can’t speak for yourself. The vial contains important medical information that can assist emergency personnel in administering the proper medical treatment.

You can pick up a Vial of Life packet at the Front Desk in Bradford Hall any time. Your medical information form needs to be updated whenever there are changes in your medical information or prescriptions.
