CONGRATULATIONS CAROLINA PRESERVE

Winner of a 2019 Community Excellence Award!

The Community Associations Institute’s (CAI) North Carolina Chapter has awarded Carolina Preserve with the prestigious “Community Excellence Award.”CAI awards this honor to communities with Boards and Community Managers that demonstrate outstanding leadership and accomplishments in keeping their communities vibrant and successful. These volunteers and professionals wear dozens of hats as they work to enhance the value and quality of living in their communities, mastering a wide spectrum of business, financial and legal issues plus tactfully dealing with challenging human dynamics. This award recognizes the community that has met these challenges and impressed CAI with their achievements. We were one of five communities that won this year and the only 55+ active adult community!
 

Burt Katz and Robert Griffith of the CP HOA Board attended the CAI Law Day Conference event on Friday, March 22 to receive the award. CAI is an influential trade association and special interest group that operates globally and has more than 60 chapters in the U.S. CAI provides education and resources to the volunteer homeowners who govern community associations and petitions for legislative and regulatory beneficence for its members which includes homeowner and condo associations. It takes a community, and CP couldn’t have done it without all our residents, especially those numerous volunteers that give of their valuable time to serve on committees, clubs, groups, task forces, charities, etc. you! This is evidenced by the preponderance of volunteer groups noted throughout our application. So, thank you Carolina Preserve! We are volunteer-strong! Keep it up! Backed by our Strategic Plan and use of state of the art technology, we took home the trophy! Well, it’s a plaque.
